Ponte Preta has officially renewed head coach Marcelo Fernandes’ contract through the end of 2026. The coach took charge of the team on August 12, 2025, when the club was facing a crisis of results and instability. After a strong campaign in Série C, where he restored order and consistency, Marcelo will remain in charge as the team returns to Série B.
