Neymar Jr volta, marca, Brasil elimina a Coreia e está nas quartas de final da Copa

Neymar Jr marcou um gol e teve ótima atuação na goleada da Seleção Brasileira por 4 a 1 contra a Coreia do Sul, nesta segunda-feira (5), no Estádio 974. A vitória garantiu a classificação do Brasil para as quartas de final da Copa do Mundo contra a Croácia. Agora, Neymar Jr está a um gol de igualar Pelé como o maior artilheiro da Seleção Brasileira com 77 gols.

Além disso, o craque também está ao lado de Ronaldo e Pelé como um dos três atletas brasileiros a marcarem gols em três Copas do Mundo diferentes. Neymar Jr soma sete gols em mundiais desde a edição de 2014. Alcançar essa marca é muito bom. Consegui coisas que jamais imaginei”, expressou o atual camisa 10 da Seleção após igualar o feito do fenômeno e do Rei.

Recuperado da lesão no tornozelo direito que o tirou dos últimos dois jogos da Copa, Neymar Jr ficou 80 minutos em campo na vitória contra a Coreia. Perguntado sobre a lesão no jogo de estreia, Neymar Jr expressou o seu sentimento após esse momento de baixa durante o início do mundial.

“Com certeza bateu um medo grande, eu vinha muito bem a temporada estava boa e sofrer uma lesão com eu sofri é bem complicado. Passei a noite chorando, meus familiares sabem, mas deu tudo certo. Valeu a pena o esforço, ter  ficado até 11h da manhã tratando com fisio, depois 5h da manhã. Todo sofrimento é válido para que no final a gente possa coroar algo tão bonito que pode acontecer”, disse Neymar Jr.

Na etapa inicial a  Seleção Brasileira teve uma atuação avassaladora contra a Coreia do Sul. Com um quarteto ofensivo inspirado, em menos de 15 minutos já estava 2 a 0 para o Brasil. O primeiro gol saiu aos 7 minutos, jogada individual de Raphinha para finalização de Vini Jr abrir o placar. Aos 15, Richarlison sofreu pênalti, Neymar Jr foi para a bola e mandou para o fundo das redes. 

Mantendo o ritmo e a alta intensidade, a Seleção chegou ao terceiro gol com Richarlison e ao quarto com Paquetá. Final do primeiro tempo: 4 a 0.

Na segunda etapa, o Brasil continuou pressionando e administrou as ações da partida. A Coreia descontou o placar com Paik Seung-Ho, após belo chute de fora da área mas não foi o suficiente para ameaçar a classificação brasileira. Fim de jogo: 4 a 1.

Após o apito final, Neymar Jr e seus companheiros de Seleção se reuniram no centro do gramado e estenderam uma faixa em homenagem ao Pelé, que está internado em São Paulo para tratar uma infecção respiratória. O Rei também foi lembrado pelos torcedores com bandeiras estendidas ao longo do jogo nas arquibancadas do estádio 974.

Neymar Jr returns, scores, Brazil eliminated Korea and takes a spot on the quarterfinal

Neymar Jr. scored a goal and had a great performance in Brazil’s 4-1 victory over South Korea, on this Monday (5), at 974stadium. The victory ensured Brazil’s spot on the World Cup’s quarterfinals against Croatia. Now Neymar Jr. is one goal away from matching Pelé as Brazil’s top scorer, with 77 goals.

In addition, the ace is among Ronaldo and Pelé as one of the three Brazilian athletes to score goals in three different World Cups. Neymar Jr. scored seven goals in World Cups since the 2014. “Reaching this mark is very good. I’ve achieved things I’ve never imagined”, stated Brazil’s current number 10 after matching the the King.

Recovered from a right ankle injury keeping kept him away from the last two World Cup matches, Neymar Jr. stayed on the pitch for 80 minutes in the victory against Korea. When questioned about the injury on the debut, Neymar Jr. expressed his feelings after a low moment during the world cup debut.

“It was certainly a scary. I was doing very well, this season was good, and taking an injury like the one I suffered was very complicated. I spent the night crying, my family knows that, but everything worked out well. It was worth the effort, staying until 11am treating with the physiotherapist after 5 am. All suffering was worth it so that in the end we could crown something so beautiful”, said Neymar Jr.

Match overall

On the first half, Braz had an overwhelming performance against South Korea. With an inspired strike quartet. In less than 15 minutes, it was already 2-0 for Brazil. The King was also remembered by the fans with flags extended throughout the match in the bleachers.

“It’s hard to talk about the moment Pelé is going through, but I wish him the best. I hope he recovers as soon as possible. I hope he took comfort from the victory and from the banner we dedicated to him”, said Neymar Jr.
